SkedFlex Vertical is part of the eTT Aviation product offering and provides LAANC services to the drone industry. What makes SkedFlex Vertical and eTT Aviation unique is that we are an aviation software company who brings 20 years of expertise in developing systems that meet the needs and requirements of the industry and our customers.

Since 2002, eTT Aviation has been providing software to airlines and aviation companies to help them manage their operations. From day-to-day scheduling of flight crews and tracking their legality, to improving the quality of life for thousands of pilots via our trip trading application, to helping companies manage their aircraft maintenance, inventory, and accounting, eTT Aviation has a comprehensive Air Operations Suite to help aviation companies with virtually all aspects of their business.

Aviation Industry Mindset/UAS Flexibility

In 2020, we were introduced to Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) operations after signing our first commercial drone customer. Realizing the exponential growth that is expected in the UAS arena, we created the SkedFlex Vertical LAANC application.

With our knowledge of the aviation regulations and requirements, and our extensive background in software development, we were able to leverage some of our existing IP to develop SkedFlex Vertical. We are proud to say that with our SkedFlex Flight Planning system and SkedFlex Vertical for LAANC, we have the distinctive ability to offer flight plan filing for manned and unmanned operations.

As the UAS industry develops, we are looking forward to building additional tools and functionality to serve our customers and respond to the changing needs of the industry. If Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations are required to operate under Part 135 regulations, we are in a unique position to help our customers because we already have the systems available to manage crew and aircraft.

Our Story

eTT Aviation was founded in 2002 with Tom LaJoie’s vision to create a tool that fellow United Airline pilots could use to improve their quality of life. The resulting trip trading software called eTripTrader (now called Crew Companion), still improves the quality of life for these pilots. Since then, eTT Aviation’s software offerings have evolved and now include a full Air Operation Suite of Products.

SkedFlex Vertical is operated under the same vision and core values as eTT Aviation. These core values guide our behavior with each other, with our partners, and with our customers.
